We are now officially 5 years old, at least in food years.

On March 1, BiteLines Atlanta Food Tours launched its 5th consecutive season, continuing to offer immersive food and street art experiences along the Atlanta Beltline.

We are thrilled to start the year with our new Atlanta Pizza and Beer Crawl. As a passionate pizza lover, I wanted to showcase how Atlanta's independent pizzerias have exploded over the past decade, even gaining national attention. While we're not New York (who is?), we're holding our own.

This pizza crawl not only offers delicious pies and refreshing beer but also provides an inside look at how the perfect pies are made. And the pizzeria chefs even share some of their secrets. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or just eager to explore new restaurants, this crawl is for you.

Doggie Crawl on the Beltline

We're also back for our third season of Barks and Bites: Doggie Crawl on the Beltline, a one-of-a-kind restaurant crawl for dogs. There is nothing like this. This year, we are happy to share that we will donate a portion of our proceeds to two outstanding animal rescue organizations: Atlanta Humane Society and Furkids. We appreciate all they do to improve the lives of doggies and kitties.

Why We Keep Doing This

We have come a long way since we soft launched in the fall of 2019. At the time, we were taking a break for winter, and planned a full launch in March 2020 when....well, we all know what happened. We took a pause, holed up in our home, and it wasn't until over a year later that we started offering our Food and Street Art Tour.

As we greeted our first tour guests, we weren't sure what to expect. It turned out that amid quarantine, many people were starving for restaurants and social contact again, and a lot of tourists headed South, where the laws were more lax (not getting political here, calm down). The rules for restaurants in Atlanta kept changing, though. Sometimes, we had to wear masks. Other times, we didn't. But regardless, we pushed through, even if we had to sit on patios under the Georgia sun to eat our food. Somehow, it all worked and BiteLines kept growing.

Over the past four consecutive seasons, we have proudly showed off the Atlanta Beltline and our favorite local restaurants to hundreds of people. Many are tourists, but just as many are metro Atlantans who are curious about the Beltline and excited to discover new restaurants. Our favorite moments are when people on our tours become friends. We have seen them swap contact info and offer each other places to stay in their respective cities. This is why we do what we do - to bring people together over food and drink!

As an Atlanta Beltline resident, I love how the trail is redefining how people experience Atlanta. I believe there is no better way to show off our city than with a walking tour on the Beltline, where you can experience its energy, local color and of course, our amazing restaurant scene.

So if you're curious about our tours, here they are at a glance:

This unique restaurant crawl for dogs is back for its third year. Pups enjoy special off-menu treats like burgers and more from dog-friendly restaurants, as well as “barkaritas” made from Brutus Bone Broth, while their owners get small bites and craft beer. The event includes shopping at pet stores, swag bags and giveaways from local and national pet brands. This year, a portion of proceeds will support two local animal rescue organizations - Atlanta Humane Society and Furkids. If you're looking for fun activities to do with your dog, or a way to celebrate their birthday, this is it.
